Testimony Sunday – Stories of being lead by God. Scriptures Readings: Psalm 25: 4 – 5; Proverbs 3: 5 – 6; Isaiah 30: 21.

Sermon: Gifts and the Holy Spirit from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs prior to the message were Blessed Assurance; Eagle’s Wings; Holy Spirit and Your Name is Power. Scripture reading was Ephesians 4: 11 – 16. Prayer focus was Prayer for our world. Closed the service by singing For I’m building a people of power.

Sermon: Self Denial from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were: I will Follow; Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace); I give you my heart and Lord I need you. Scripture readings: Matthew 16: 24 – 27; Matthew 26: 39, 42 and Galatians 5: 13 – 14. In recognition of Mother’s Day, the Children’s Church handed out some small gift baskets to the ladies in the congregation to bless each Mum. This was followed by a prayer time for Mothers, where we acknowledged that this day can bring mixed emotions for many women. The service was closed with the song: Build my Life.

Sermon: Thankfulness, from the new series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were: Our God; Hosanna and I Surrender All. During the Communion the song “My Worth is not in what I own” was sung. The service was closed with the song “Blessed be your name”.

Sermon: Intro to the new series on Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were: Come people of the risen King; Lord reign in me; Goodness of God and Abide. Scripture readings were: 1 Corinthians 9: 24 – 26 and 1 Timothy 4: 7 – 10. Prayer focus was ” Prayer for our world”. Closed the service with the song Build my Life. Children’s Church also resumed today.

Sermon: Stepping Beyond The Fence – Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to Message were: Battle Belongs; Lord Reign in me; Build my life & Mighty to Save. Scripture verses were John 15: 1 – 8. Prayer focus this week was People’s Requests. After the message the service was closed by singing I Will Follow. Children’s church is in recess for the school holidays, resumes 26th April. 

Sermon: “He Is” – Easter Sunday Service by Rev David Tidey. He is Risen! Songs prior to the message: Great Things; King of Kings; In Christ Alone. Scripture Readings: Luke 24: 1 – 12, Luke 24: 36 – 53, 1 Corinthians 15: 3 – 8. Communion was held after the message while song Love Ran Red was sung. Closed the service singing Amazing Grace (my Chains are gone).

Sermon: “What If” – Good Friday Service by Rev David Tidey. Songs prior to the message: How Deep the Fathers Love for Us; Man of Sorrows; Worthy is the Lamb. Scripture Readings: John 18: 1 – 12, John 18: 36 to 19: 13 – 16 and John 19: 17 – 30. Reflection Song after the message prior to closing: Love Ran Red.
