    Speaker: Janelle Tidey

    Sermon: Worship from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Janelle Tidey. Our worship songs were led by visiting worship leader Liam Carelse from Toowoomba, and the songs sung prior to the message were This I believe, Shout to the Lord and Living Hope. Scripture readings were Genesis 22:1-19 and Romans 1:21-25. Our service finished with the songs King of Kings and Yet Not I but through Christ in Me. There was no Children’s Church due to it being school holidays. It will resume on 19 July 2026.

    Sermon: Rest & Self Care from series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were Abide; Oceans; Trust in You & Holy Forever. Prayer focus was: Prayer for our World. The scripture readings were Exodus 20: 8 – 11 and Luke 6: 1 -10. Reflection video played after the message: Song Rest for my Soul by Graham Kendrick. Congregation finished the service by singing: It is well. There was no Children’s Church due to it being school holidays. It will resume on 19th July 2026.

    Sermon: Do you know Jesus – Reading, Memorizing and Studying the Word by Guest Speaker Harry Hennessy. Songs sung prior to the message: Music video – Your Word; Followed by congregation singing Thy Word; I Speak Jesus; Christ is Enough and Because He Lives. Bible reading was from Deuteronomy 17: 14 – 20. The prayer focus was for Missions and the service was closed by singing Revelation Song. A Mission Lunch followed the service to raise funds for Missionaries.

    Sermon: Fellowship and Community from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message: Praise; Leaning on the Everlasting Arms; King of Kings; Yet not I but through Christ in me. Prayer focus this week was People’s Requests. Scripture Readings: 1 Peter 2:10 and Hebrews 10: 24 – 25. Service was closed singing the chorus Bind us Together. The Children’s Church participated in their “Prayer Walk” (concluding QB prayer week) around our local community, praying for our local organizations, schools and community groups.

    Sermon: Prayer as a First Response by Quest Speaker Mark Westhuyzen the director of QB Church Health. Songs sung prior to the message: Mighty to Save; Salvation Belongs to our God; How Great Thou Art. Song sung through Communion: Eagles Wings. Scripture readings: Nehemiah 1: 4 – 11 and Colossians 4: 2 – 6. Closed the service singing: The Battle Belongs to the Lord and Chorus of Battle Belongs. Service was followed by a prayer walk around town to pray for our community organizations and schools.

Scripture reading was Ephesians 4: 11 – 16. Prayer focus was Prayer for our world. Closed the service by singing For I’m building a people of power.

    Sermon: Solitude and Silence from the series Spiritual Disciplines, by Quest speaker Syd Quick. Songs sung prior to the message were: This is amazing grace; Open the eyes of my heart Lord; Revelation song. Prayer focus this Sunday was Missions. After the message there was a 4 min silence and solitude time of reflection before closing with the final song, Lord reign in me.

    Speaker: Rev David Tidey

    Sermon: Self Denial from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were: I will Follow; Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace); I give you my heart and Lord I need you. Scripture readings: Matthew 16: 24 – 27; Matthew 26: 39, 42 and Galatians 5: 13 – 14. In recognition of Mother’s Day, the Children’s Church handed out some small gift baskets to the ladies in the congregation to bless each Mum. This was followed by a prayer time for Mothers, where we acknowledged that this day can bring mixed emotions for many women. The service was closed with the song: Build my Life.
