Series: Spiritual Disciplines

Sermon: Self Denial from the series Spiritual Disciplines by Rev David Tidey. Songs sung prior to the message were: I will Follow; Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace); I give you my heart and Lord I need you. Scripture readings: Matthew 16: 24 – 27; Matthew 26: 39, 42 and Galatians 5: 13 – 14. In recognition of Mother’s Day, the Children’s Church handed out some small gift baskets to the ladies in the congregation to bless each Mum. This was followed by a prayer time for Mothers, where we acknowledged that this day can bring mixed emotions for many women. The service was closed with the song: Build my Life.

Scripture readings were: 1 Corinthians 9: 24 – 26 and 1 Timothy 4: 7 – 10. Prayer focus was ” Prayer for our world”. Closed the service with the song Build my Life. Children’s Church also resumed today.
